The Restless Phantoms

Kite stood at ridge rock cemetery walking through the graveyard his weapons on his side.He once again wore the clothes of a Eden Knight. Kite walked around his hazel eyes searching the graveyard his senses were more than humans it was like he could smell the ghosts.He looked around the grave yard*EXCUSE ME I'M LOOKING FOR A PHANTOM?

There was no answer. However, there was a spiritual disturbance in the distance that could be felt by the battle-mage. A pulling feeling. This feeling was leading toward the grave site of the... 'client'

Moves with the pull his twin swords in hand as Kite steps carefully over the ground.His blonde and black spiked hair floating in the wind as his hazel eyes could see both life and death. He stepped up to the grave reading the name.*Hm this is the place.*Looks around.*Where are you.

A figure came into view. Its horrid face showed the moments before this person died on it with a grusome, twisted look about it. There was much it needed to say but it had little time leaving it to only speak about its purpose in calling the battle-mage here. "You..find my body...the graverobbers have taken it and I can not rest until it is safely back in my grave..." the spirit flickered. "Please.. I beg of you.. hurry.. they have taken it to the Rondale Clinic for medical studies.." It's time was breif yet well spent. It faded away, restless nonetheless. All that could be done was wait for the stranger to retrieve the corpse and return it.

Kite nodded and turned running flat out his hair flowing in the wind.As he closed in on the clinic.He moved quieter in the shadows before slipping up to the front door and sneaks inside looking around at the creepy clinic.*What sickos rob a grave.*Kite slipped around a corner hearing tools work as he looked into the back room seeing a body that looked like the phantom.He turned kicking open the door looking at the robbers*Halt in the name of the Eden knights. (kinda worked on my char)

These were not the theives that he expected. In fact.. there were several rooms upon about three floors; a dozen rooms on each floor. The people who were cutting open the corpse raised their hands to show they meant no harm. "Eden Knights..?" They were doctors, some in practice but these were professional doctors wantin to further their medical practice. The body was not the body of the phantom, it was another poor soul. The battle-mage had many rooms to search...

A shadow moved across the hall from the other end, dropping a metalic coin on the ground which clang upon impact. The body of the phantom had not been operated upon yet and was being taken upstairs.

Kite turned away from the doctors and nodded for them to continue.As he walked down the hall and turned spotting a coin he looked at the staircase and took off into a run lithe and quick.He moved up the stairs like he was running on flat ground.Knowing the sick robbers were close he drew his dual swords slipping into Knight mode.

As the knight had moved deeper into the clinic, the thieves moved further away. The thieves were doing their best to avoid the knight that was apparently after them. As they reached a higher level of the clinic, they stowed away into a room and locked their selves inside. They set down the corpse and began to relax, all talking about how they were gonna split the earnings they got from the corpse.

Kite slipped up to the clinic following the trail.As he slid his dual swords out and kicked the door knocking it down as he stepped in.*Halt in the name of the Eden Knight's.*Kites eyes floated around landing on each one.*Lay down hand on your head's and no one dies.

The ghouls raised their heads to the man who just barged in on their conversation. They were started; five of them occupied the room. One of them who seems to be the leader from his sudden authority to take charge. He stood. "Who are you!?" The other four moved their hands to grab the nearest weapon or object that could be used as a weapon. The corpse lay on an operation bed to be operated on when the professor became available. A battle was brewing with the growing intention of hostility.

Kite's eyes wondered over them as he held one sword in hand the other at his side.His black and blond hair spiked as he stepped into the room walking into the middle of them so he had perfect range for them all.Looking at the corpse.*It's a shame you took that now you 5 have a choice surrender or die I really don't care which.*His body moved into a stance one of the many feared from the Eden Knight's.

Two of the grave robbers ran forward, daggers in hand. They both struck out at the Eden knight, not caring about anything except killing him and getting away with their treasure. The other three stood there, deciding that they'll just wait to see how strong this night was exactly.

Kite side stepped the blade going under.His blade flashed up ward's if it hit it would decapitate the man.On the upper rise he turned into a spin his other hand pulling the blade on his right hip to parry away the other attacker's blow.Bringing down his right hand blade if it hit it would remove the mans arm right at the elbow.

The first man that the blade had stuck at, had not seen the blade as his own blade only penetrated through the man's armor though not even coming close to the flesh. As the knight's sword made a clean cut through the first guy's neck, head fell to the ground and began to roll a couple feet.

The second man had pulled his arm away just in time before the knights blade could cut through his arm. Another man came up to help attack the knight. The other two men in the back dropped their weapons and knelled down and stayed out of the fight. They may have been grave robbers but risking their lives over just one corpse was pathetic.

Kite had enough his body hummed has his speed enhanced.His blade was like lightning as it flowed down for one of the 2 men left.The other blade had spun moving around in a defense.If the first blade hit it would cleave the mans skull open from there he went into a tornado spin clutching both handles close to the body spinning like a top.Kites blades flashed at the other man pinning him into a corner.The blades moved closer and closer if they hit it would be like a blender on the mans body.

The two two men who were left to fight the Eden knight were both struck down. One man had his head basically split in two. Then man who was pinned in the corner, groaned out in loud pain as the knights blades sliced through him, sending chunks of flesh flying. The bodies fell and the last two men pushed the corpse forward towards the knight, not willing to die for it.

Kite lifted the corpse grabbing the two men who didn't want to fight and walked down the stairs shoving the grave robbers into the custody of two security soldier's.With the body in tow Kite walked back to the graveyard and the grave laying the body back and buries it.*Hey phantom I did what you asked there you go your body back.

Taminra, the phantom, appeared in front of the knight and smiled. "Thank you for burying my body once again. Please take the items from the chest hidden under my grave marker." Taminra disappeared and the area became quiet once again.

Kite moved over picking up the items and the Gil and smiles walking off.
