The tormented Camp:
Lately there's been a rampaging Ogre tormenting a small village to the north.
Gil 100 reward
Items:Bone,Heart and claws.

Maple looked it over as she walked towards the coordinates given for the camp, smiling brightly at the idea of the first quest she would be embarking on for this beautiful land she had come upon. She made her way down the path north and soon reached the small village, she looked around, all the windows were boarded up and nothing seemed to stir, not even the wind blew. "Creepy..." she giggled a little as she headed to the village square, where she met the mayor (For lack of a better word) and introduced herself.

Npc Mayor:The mayor smiled a haggard worn smile as he spotted the woman and walks over his hands ringing each other.*O...ooh hello there um I see you have our request there. Please*the old man dropped to his knees.*Oh please please say you can save us......*A roar shook the boarded windows as a 9 ft ogre stepped from the brush.It held a giant wooden club in one baseball mit meaty hand.As he stepped forward bellowing again.His only clothes was a brown loin cloth.His teethe were haggard and gross looking and crooked.The ogre had little hair that looked like onion hairs.His feet were huge with toe nails sharp enough to cut hide clean off.

"Hoo... crap." Maple pushed the Mayor back and drew out her lance, feeling the magical aura from her body flood into it easily beacuse of all the practice she had had with it, she was glad she was at least prepared for this, because it looked like a battle that would take a bit more than the norm. The ogre was huge! She drew her breath slowly and walked towards the ogre, ready to dive out of the way at a moments notice, testing his reactions and strength before lunging in like a moron.

The ogre's eyes focused on the small, almost inferior seeming female as she made her cautious approach. The club, gripped tightly in it's hand was soon raised above it's head. The torso twisted slightly and with a slight rubber hand effect as a lunge step forward to quickly close the distance between it and the approaching female. The torso twisted back as the arm came down with the club tightly in hand. The club, aimed directly for the female in immediate intention of crushing her in this single strike. If the club were to make full on contact with the female, her body and bones would be crushed to be left a bloody mess for it to feast upon. If the girl dodged the club, a depression in the ground would be made from the severity of the impact that would almost scream 'That could be you'. His speed was slightly sluggish due to its massive build but the strength was it's compensation.

Maple caught this in the nick of time, diving to the right and rolling around the side of the gigantic ogre, readying her lance and making a jab for the monster, aiming straight for the spaces between the ribs. Her magical aura flared and coated the lance blade in flames as she lunged it forward, hoping against hope to inflict some major damage into the beast.

There was too much force placed in this strike to even attempt to initiate a counter. The beast was struck and bleeding, severely. A loud roar of pain exited it's mouth. Set into a raging tantrum he rose itself up, blood freely leaking out of the newly made hole in its rib. It lifted the club above its head one more time but there was something different.. it began to stagger. SHe had pierced an internal organ as well. The only thought in this simple minded creature was to get and crush the girl that stood against it. Sadly.. as far as this thought went led it to try and move forward, toward her but in turn, all it did was fall in her direction. Its' eyes closed as he moved toward her, falling over. It's weight would crush her if she did not move in time.

She yelped and dove out of the way again, rolling back the way she came and landing in the crater the ogre had made earlier, she looked up over the hole and saw the monster land, standing up and brushing herself off as she cleaned the blood off her lance with a cloth, and quickly sheathed it back on her back, she got out of the crater and walked over to the mayor. "Well that wasn't too hard... I think. That should be the last of your ogre problems, at least from this one. I believe I punctured a lung."

The mayor was in a glee of joy. "Thank you thank you so much great warrior!" There was some clutter about the beast as several of the mayor's personal workers moved over it. The mayor had such a joyful smile as several of the people brought three items that would be given to the warrior girl. They had extracted the heart, sawn off the finger nails and toe nails as well as removed several pieces of bone that could be carried without hassle. These were all offered to the girl. The mayor himself however, pulled out a pouch from his vest. "And here you are young miss! One-Hundred gil for your troubles as well as some spoils from the beast you have slain. Thank you and thank you on behalf of my village!"

She giggled and gladly accepted the gifts before waving and spreading her wings, flying into the air and heading back to Eden for a little rest before her next quest. "So begins my carrier as a heroine. Sweet."
