Guard the Castle

As they arrived at the castle of the King of Eden, they quietly entered. Walking deep into the castle, they finally arrived into the throne room. Both Luna and Sol knelled but Sol did it only for a few seconds while Luna did it for a while longer before standing back up.

Sol moved forward and ignored the fact the guards were ready to strike at him. "So Kingy... I heard you're having some trouble with a few bandits? We found you needing some killing skills since your guards are too pathetic to handle it it seems." Sol bellowed with laughter as he grinned happily. His hands resting in his pockets.

Luna sighed softly as he listed to his brother being as impulsive as ever. Pushing his brother back, Luna bowed slightly before coming back up. "What my dear brother means, Your Highness, is we will be happy to defeat this bandits for you. But we will require half of our payment now... Such is the tradition of our land." Luna's left hand rested on the hilt of his katana. "Now I suppose that provides no problem for us?"

Sol watched his brother work away at the king as he looked around the castle. He wanted to take some of the valuable things but he didn't want to risk he and his brother getting executed for it. "Yo, Luna.. Hurry up on the kingy there. I wanna get our gold, kill some people and get out of here." He kicked at the ground as he looked back at Luna.

A form walked through the doors looking at the two men and the graceful King.Kite knelt down before the king before rising and turned to face the other two men his eyes landing on them.*First of all it is your highness not kingy disrespect him again ill take what you value most.Second of all you get paid when the job is done not a second before and just to make sure you don't screw it up I will be going with you.Kite's hand rested on the hilt of one of his blade's watching them.Kite turned his head mocking them*Now I expect that won't be a problem will it?

Sol looked over at the knight who had just came in. As the knight spoke to him, he bellowed with laughter once again. Seeing a torch by the night, his changed to a bright orangey-red color. "Well... Seeing as how his own knights can't handle the bandits, do you think you, a knight, should be telling me what to do? Plus I'll call your King, Kingy if I want. understand that, Knighty?" Cocking his head to the side, he made a small flame jump from the torch and land on the man's hand so it would be removed from the hilt of his blade.

Luna continued to sigh as he noticed his brother once again playing with fire. "Sol behave... We don't want things ending up in trouble now do we?" Looking over at the knight, he turned away. "Fine... I guess we'll accept the pay after the job is done. Oh and one more thing... Be careful around us. Fight with Sol and you'll be burned." Walking towards the doors, he looked at his brother. "Sol... let's go. We have to hurry up and eliminate the bandits if we want our money."

Once the twins got outside, they stood quietly and began to wait for the bandits to arrive so they may eliminate them and retrieve the money they want.

Kite stepped outside looking at the two and a quick draw of his blade sent a large wind wave down the middle of them.On the ground was a long slash as Kite stepped down and walked past the two of them.*The Knight's haven't been called to take care of the bandits.And if you think you can threaten me think again I would kill you both and I would let Sol watch you die first.*Kite seemed to shimmer before he vanished moving like lightning.

Watching the guard walk past them, Luna sighed softly. "He's more temperamental than my own brother. Now that's a first." Luna chuckled softly but kept calm. Unlike many people, he never went into a battle as a hothead. He remained calm and fluid in all of the things he did though of course he did have his outbursts.

Sol looked at the knight. His normal carefree mood gone once his twin was threatened. It seemed that the knight hadn't understood a bit of the plain English he spoke. Shrugging it off as he saw his brother didn't care, he prepared his self for battle by grabbing a torch that he could use.

They followed the knight, both remained silent as if someone had just died. Luna and Sol were antsy to get rid of stood in their way and if there were any "casualties", they couldn't care less about it.

Kite stopped looking around flexing his finger's as a form jumped twirling on the turn the blade was just there.The bandit dropped a dismembered head rolling as kite sheathed the blade looking at the two of them.*Spread out ill take north.Sol east your brother goes west.South they will run into other gaurds so don't give them the chance just kill them.*Kite stepped forward before running his feet barley touching the ground.

After Kite had left, Luna and Sol nodded at each other. Their auras and clothing changed immediately as they took their true forms of shinigami. They both disappeared as they headed to the area that they would attack in.

Luna disappears to the west and appears in front of several bandits. Smiling, he crouched and pushed the blade out of its saya somewhat. As he completely drew his katana from its saya, he lurched forward slashing at one of the men, hopefully his attack ended up cutting him in half. "Hmph... Being ruthless bandits make your souls worthless." He chuckled softly.

Sol gets in the east and stands quietly on a tree branch. using the torch, he lit the edges of his chakrams before dropping the torch. Throwing the right handed chakram, the burning chakram flew through the air. The circular blade flying quietly and quickly through the air as it was flying at the bandits chest.

Bandits that made a goal to steal from the kingdom would definitely have to be on their guard. Simple attacks..

One of the several bandits that was now confronting the one known as Luna. A straight forwarrd attack would be easy to thwart with minimal effort. Thier prowess mental capacity was insightfulness while their attributes focused primarily on agility and speed. A simitar was brought up by the bandit's left hand to guard himself in the knick of time. The bandit had begun to skid back from the impact as sparks flew from the point of connection between the two metal weapons. The man's face was covered by a black cloth showing only his eyes, similar to the Arabian style which hinted his origin. Distance was gained from this man skidding from the impact. There was another blade sached to his back where his right hand was quickly placed as the man knelt himself on his right knee. The blade in the left hand lowered the edge to lightly be placed on the ground. He focused on the opponent Luna's motions and premanuvers to find the patterns but that was optional. He was on his defensive stance as he knelt there as still as a statue.


Sol.. attempting a projectile. The male was running only to be partially intercepted by the soaring chakram. An interesting weapon indeed. A blazing weapon was not hard to spot nor dodge. He threw his weight sideways to sumersault. Landing in the knelt position, he kept himself low, unsure if the chakram was a weapon with a boomerang effect. He stayed low, eyes bolting from left to right to find the thrower of this weapon. His attire and weaponry was the very same as the one confronting Luna, dual scimitars sached to the backside with the hilts aimed upward in a crossed manner.

North, east, south, west. There were four bandits. The first two had been intercepted and wer already engaging Sol and Luna. The ones from the North and the South were approaching the castle walls with haste. The one from the north was slightly swifter than the one from the south and given the time frame, he had already breached the walls.

The bandit from the north knelt behind a bush after having dropped from the scaled height. A guard of the castle walked by. The situation was assessed. Slaying this man would not be wise. In a swift, silent dash he crossed the encircling path to duck into the line of large concealing bushes. The guard stopped, hearing a rustle in the bushes but only a bird flew out right passed the bandits face. It scapegoated for him. The guard shrugged and proceeded to guard the vicinity. The bandit waited there, senses fully alert of his surroundings. His eyes scowered the premisice to seek out a simple way to breach the interior of the castle.

Kite stepped into the path as he stared at the bandit hiding in the brush he made no attempt to draw his weapon.Kite narrowed his eyes looking at the man.*In the name of the king and the Eden Knight's come out and surrender now and tell your allies to do the same or you all forefit your lives.

Clever was Luna and Sol but there were drawbacks.

The bandit which faced Luna needed not to block the projectile. In fact, he made perfect use of this misleading activity. The foot of the bend leg that was used to support his knelt posture tensed. His eyes locked on the projectile, timing was of the essence. About half way through the traveling distance the bandit lunged forward but did not raise his body all that high. His feet remained secure on the ground yet his movements made him seem as light as a feather. When he darted forward, his body was kept bent forward, using his weight as a factor to gain momentum. With a forward weight and his feet moving hastily beneath him, each step was long to maintain the balance. Upon coming to the projectile, he dropped even lower but only because he allowed his right leg to extend out, now skidding on the left foot. The right leg that extended out was used to rotate his body. A full three-sixy spin was taken; the circular momentum maintained his balance perfectly. Upon almost completing the swift spin, the arm extended out with the blade in a horizontal fashion given that Luna had made his attempt would have run into the slash from the bandit causing a sever injury or even fatal. The blade that was sheathed still to his back was kept in tight grip by the hilt to be used as a defensive if Luna managed to avoid and counter.

The bandit that encountered Sol appeared to be in a tighter situation. The temperature rose, he could feel it gradually growing hotter. Progressively he began to sweat. He had no choice, the ground was too hot. He leapt up into the air. moving backward in the same motion to land on one of the branches of a tree in a crouched position but it was still blazing hot to him. He began to pant a bit. Maybe the ground growing hot so gradually was the factor that saved this bandit for the moment. His heart began racing. At least he knew who his attacker was..having seen this assaulter, he felt all hope of survival dwindle. His vision blurred for a moment. The heat alone was killing him.

It would appear that three of the four were already discovered. The bandit in the bush turned his head to look at the man who called him to attention. He did not move. He stared. Waiting... watching for an attack. Hastey actions would normally lead to one's death and a chance he was not about to take.

The final bandit who had not yet been discovered finally breached the walls. Making haste toward the castle. The guards that stood in his way were taken down with extreme ease. This last bandit was.. different..

Kite walked closer his hand's away from the blades at his side as he looked at the bandit.He stepped around to stand face to face.The man looked different then what the bandit's normally faced.Kite in a flash was on the other side of the man his blade raised one of two thing's could have happend on the move.The bandit could have moved just a inch to the left and nothing would happen.Or Kite had been too fast and the blade had taken his head.

The bandit that faced Luna missed his target or was more so, deflected. He remained knelt down. The second blade had yet to have been drawn. Both eyes narrowing, focusing on Luna, singling him. The bandit rose to stand. It was increasingly cold all of a sudden. He looked to the ground a moment to see frost. Hm.. Looking back to Luna he knew what had to be done. There was no time to kill this child. Kneeling down he leapt up into the air to land on a tree branch. Pushing himself along the limbs of the trees to near his priliminary destination; the castle wall, leaving Luna behind.

The bandit that faced Sol was very much long gone. The moisture of his body had evaporated, leaving him too weak to move. His eyes closed as the tree was set ablaze. Burned alive. Silent he was upon his death, not having the strength nor will in him to even scream futilely. His burnin corpse fall from the branch still engulfed in flames. Sol had defeated his opponent.

This eden knight.. unusual he was and fast. Too fast for him. His body did not move, maybe his sudden petrification saved him. A stray branch that was the inch to his left snapped.. or was it sliced? This bandit's status: Slain.

The mysterious bandit; the forth that had yet to be discovered or probably already has been, had also breached the castle walls but not through silent infiltration. Their cover was well blown, this one knew that. Reaching up, he placed a hand on the castle wall. A large portion of the wall turned black and began to shimmer. It changed.. the man walked through. The wall had been turned into a shadow. There was a guard that was completely dumbfounded by the sight that was witnessed. The man darted over to the guard, placing a hand over his mouth and whispered; this bandit seeming to be the only one with the ability to speak. "Where is the King's crown?" the guard did not want to die but given his sudden situation; legs petrified with fear, he had no choice. He answered, telling the bandit that the crown was placed in the Treasury room where the most valuable and sacred items were placed. Directions were also given. On the other side of the castle, straight down the current hall and to the left; in the center of the western wing of the structure. Thanks were given and appreciated but in return the bandit did two things. "My name is Searu." And with that, the guard was dissolved. His body falling apart from the uneven transmutation into a shadow. Painful, definately but there was no mouth to scream with nor lungs to draw air. Searu darted down the hall with great speed. His own body turning black like a shadow, translucent, even. He was gone in the next moment. He had dissolved himself into a shadow instantly to reach his goal. He rose up slowly within the treasurey room. "Ah.."

The bandit ran right into Kite's blade before he could realise what had happened either the bandit ducked which was unlikely or the head of the bandit now rolled.Kite had used a secret way while the bandit had taken the long way around giving Kite plenty of time to take care of the pest.He turned his head feeling the castle warm up but ignored it as his foot steppes echoed down the hall.Kite turned stopped having a inspiration.*What was the most valuable thing here?*Kite thought to himself with that he turned running full speed a blur for the treasury.

Two our of the four bandits were slain and there was possibly a third one to follow. Luna was in hot pursuit of this one and to this bandit's dismay, fleeing was futile. As one of the trees ahead of him dropped drastically in temperature, it frosted prior to him aquiring proper footing. he heard the crunch but he had already hurled himself to the next branch which was glazed over with an icey coating. He landed and slipped, frantically trying to grab hold of the branch in a panic he fell. Landing on his feet in the crouched position, a rabbit hole was poorly placed beneath him. One foot, the foot to absorb all the impact landed in this hole and thus the ankle was twisted. Moving himself to the seated position, a breath was exhaled and a smog rose from his cloth. He drew both his scimitars, turning his torso as far as it could to observe his surroundings, searching for this attacker. He was practically immobilized with his twisted ankle.

This strange bandit here.. the forth.. approached the crown that was placed on a pedestal. He was not one to bask in glory before being safe like most other villians. Taking up the crown he placed the object in his pouch and immediately knelt down. A thief in professional work he was. Footsteps were heard coming down the hall and the temperature was rising slowly. "Other higher powers.." Saying to himself with a smirk. "My objective is completed.." Muttering as he quickly moved toward the window, opening it and placing one foot on the windowscil to prepare a swift escape. He actually had two methods of escaping but he would have liked to make an impression on the one who was coming or were there two? There was no moon out and it was night. A time when his abilities would be at an utmost prime. A moonless night.

Kite stepped into the treasurey room noticing the bandit his eyes flashing.*Halt in the name of the Eden Knight's.Kite ran forward pressing a foot on the window sill and jumped flipping in the air.He landed sword drawn standing in front of the bandit.*Give back the crown or die this day.

Luna got his kill. The bandit was in not position to twist his body that far and even still with the mobility of his arms he would have not had the speed to guard himself. He tried to stay alive and miserablely failed. The bandit - slain.

Seabu stood before the Eden Knight. A smirk played along the man's face. Seabu was not about to monologue for he knew the consequences of such unthoughful verbal actions. His only goal was to obtain an object from the Imperial Palace and that he did. While the Eden Knight monologued his 'entrance of justice', Seabu's body almost immediately lost its color, becoming black and becoming one with the shadows. A shadowmancer he was. One of few who still graduated from the hidden academy of Shadow Mages and Dark Clerics. He, was a Dark Cleric.

This mission was a failure indeed. The regions of absent light which was spread everywhere was his method of travel which allowed him almost instantaneous transportation as long as the sun remained hidden beyond the horizon and the moon not reflecting the sun's rays.

One thing should have been gained, a bit of knowledge. That there were shadowmancers out there... somewhere and this Eden Knight should be aware such an opponent, or culture exists.

Both Luna and Sol sensed some strange power at work as the bandit disappeared from the castle using shadow magic. The twins were quite angry with themselves as they were not able to stop the last thief from stealing from the King's humble castle. Making their ways to the throne room to see if the king was alright at least. They did want their pay but they also had something else on their mind.

Kite gritted his teethe haven forgotten about those thing's.He stepped into the throne room walking over to the king and began to tell him what had happened looking over his shoulder at Luna and Sol and turned to look at them*Why are you still here?

Looking at Kite, they nodded to each other and Luna walked forward. Ready to ask for their gold and to join the Eden Knights.

Luna walked forward as he sheathed his katana in the saya, he bowed before standing back up. "Your highness... we would first ask for our pay. We are sorry that you lost your possession but shadow magic is a pretty rare find among people. It is very powerful and quite hard to defend against. We would secondly like to ask if you if we may join the Eden Knights and help your man help find your crown."

"But before we help him find the crown we're gonna have to learn more about this man and shadow magic. So I suggest we look for the school." Remembering that his chakrams were still ablaze, he concentrated and put the flames out. "But we'll need our pay so we can buy a few things and get ready to do what we need to do."

It was obvious that these two really wanted to help.
